The Diaconal Ministries Committee sponsored a "Saturday of Service" event on Saturday, Oct 10. We worked with Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF) and ACCESS. We had 48 people from 7 different churches in our classis. We did landscaping, organized the clothing and food pantry at Family Haven, tore down and rebuilt a retaining wall, and cleaned out an old, abandoned house.
We had perfect weather and great fellowship. Thank you to each of our volunteers for helping to make it a successful day!
